A student of Rajshahi University has been killed in a road accident. The accident occurred on the Dhaka-Rajshahi highway at around 11pm on Wednesday at the raw market in Binodpur area adjacent to the university.
The deceased, Iftekharul Islam (Famin), was a student of the English department of the university in the 2019-20 academic year. He lives in Kishoreganj district. Iftekharul was thrown from his motorcycle onto the road after being hit by an auto-rickshaw. He was rescued and taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
